This difference of meaning is important to us because we understand that the decision to purchase is not a one-time event. Upgrading M&E hardware/software, long after the initial purchase, has a significant cost of ownership that impacts fiscal budgets for years to come. For example, future additional costs could be incurred as technical advances warrant upgrades. Furthermore, difficulties of forecasting storage requirements for the next four years often requires additional storage purchases 2-3 years after the initial purchase.

How We Maintain and Support our Deployments
One important Aformance difference is how we maintain and support our deployments. At the first tier
we thoroughly train your existing personnel on fundamental maintenance and repair of all deployed equipment and software. At the second tier we do that, plus our team provides ongoing maintenance
and support remotely and is always available in the event a problem ever occurs. Our third, highly
unique tier, called “continuous on-site support”, provides a full-time on-site Aformance staff member at
your facility giving your team and our team a continuous, highly granular, conduit of communication enabling a level of support unheard of in the industry before. With all three tiers, ongoing scheduled
maintenance always occurs based on established Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards. Aformance deployments, without fail, include extensive documentation, workflow designs, and technical diagrams in order to maintain continuous smooth operations and minimize downtime in the event of a failure.
